Amin Jewellers Ltd., a renowned name in gold industry, has taken an initiative to honor some 25 dignitaries as recognition for their contribution to the society on the occasion of celebration of its golden jubilee in Bangladesh. The dignitaries would be selected on the basis of their outstanding contribution specially in the various field such as upholding country’s historical background, tradition, language movement, liberation war, art, literature, culture, politics, economics, business, education, architectural studies and medical science. Each of the notable persons would be honored with Tk. 300,000 (three lakh), a gold medal weighting two tola and a crest. Amin Jewellers has taken this move to honor the noted persons of the country as a part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Amin Jewellers believes that honoring the dignitaries will help discharge its duty to the society. Various aspects of the programmer unveiled at a press conference on September 1, 2014 at Pan Pacific Sonargaon, Dhaka. A panel of juries comprising three-member will select the dignitaries. Noted persons who are pioneer in their respective sector would be selected of the award. Amin Jewellers Chairman and former MP Quazi Sirajul Islam M.J.F explained details of the noble initiative in the occasion. He also exchanged views with the newsmen and replied to their question. Amin Jewellers Director Kazi Aminul Islam also attended the ceremony. Amin Jewellers will step up to 50 years of its glorious and successful operation in Bangladesh on January 1, 2016.
